Azerbaijan's amputee football team finished the League of Nations C group held in Baku with a bronze medal.
"Report" reports that the team, coached by Ramil Habibov, played its last group match against Ukraine.
The match held at "Bayil Arena" stadium ended with a 3:1 victory for the opponent.
The national team had previously defeated Belgium 3:0 and the Netherlands 1:0, and agreed to a goalless draw with Israel.
It should be noted that according to the final standings in the tournament table, Ukraine with 9 points finished the competition in the first place. The team also advanced to group B in the League of Nations.
Israel took second place with 8 points, and Azerbaijan took third place with 7 points.
The Netherlands with 4 points took fourth place, and Belgium with no points took fifth place. The latter fell to group D in the League of Nations.
