The Azerbaijan women's national football team played its next match in the qualifying round of the World Championship. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Siyaset Asgarov, won 3:1 against Andorra away.
Sevinj Jafarova (15, 51) scored a double for the team. Esra Manya (90+5) scored the team's third goal.
The match was held at the "Andorra la Vella" stadium.
Earlier, the team lost to Hungary (0:1) and defeated North Macedonia (2:0).
It should be reminded that the Azerbaijani national team is currently in second place with 6 points in Group 3 of League C. Leader Hungary has 7, North Macedonia in third place has 3, and Andorra in last place has 1 point.
