Azerbaijan national team will play its second match in the qualifying round for the World Cup 2026 today. Sport24.az reports that the team is hosting Ukraine within "native walls".
Fernandu Santos, the head coach of the national team, who was defeated with a big score (0:5) in the first qualifying round match against Iceland, was dismissed yesterday. Therefore, the team will enter the field today under the leadership of Aykhan Abbasov, the head coach of U-21.
Note that the starting whistle of the game will sound at 20:00.
