The Azerbaijan national team will play its second match in the qualifying round for the FIFA World Cup 2026 today. Sport24.az reports that the team will host Ukraine within "native walls".
Fernandu Santos, the head coach of the national team, who lost with a big score (0:5) to Iceland in the first match of the qualifying round, was dismissed yesterday. Therefore, the team will take the field today under the leadership of Aykhan Abbasov, the head coach of U-21.
