The Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 17 years old played its third game today as part of the European Championship qualifying round. Sport24.az reports that our national team, which is in the 9th group, faced the corresponding age group team of Romania in its last match.
The match held at the "Bourret" stadium in Capbreton, France, ended with Romania's 5:1 victory. Ali Bashirov scored the only goal for the Azerbaijani national team in the 20th minute.
The U-17 national team, which lost to France with 8 unanswered goals in the first match, was also defeated by Israel with a big score in the second match - 1:5.
