Three players have scored hat-tricks in matches played so far between "Qarabag" and "Neftchi". Sport24.az reports with reference to the PFL that only players of the Aghdam club have managed to do this in Azerbaijan derbies.
Former members of the "Khokhlot horses" Georgi Adamia, Reynaldo Silva and Filip Ozobic were able to score three goals in one match against the "white-blacks".
Yunis Huseynov ("Neftchi") scored the first double in the duel between the parties in 1994. The match ended with a 3:2 victory for the Baku club. "Qarabag"'s first double was recorded a year later in Mushfig Huseynov's record. The winner was not determined in that match - 2:2
Only two players have been remembered for scoring two doubles. These are Mahir Emreli and Kadi Borges (both "Qarabag").
The head coach of "Qarabag", Gurban Gurbanov, also scored a double in the derby. He distinguished himself as a "Neftchi" player in the match they won 3:1 in 2004.
It should be noted that the "Qarabag" - "Neftchi" match of the XI round of the Misli Premier League will take place on November 9.
