The new head coach of the Azerbaijan national football team will be announced today.
According to the information obtained by "Report", Aykhan Abbasov will be entrusted with the team.
It should be noted that Aykhan Abbasov previously led the team in the match where the Azerbaijan national team drew (1:1) with Ukraine in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
He is also the head coach of "Shamakhi" team and U-21 national team.
