Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has responded to a question about Pep Guardiola's possible departure from Manchester City.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the BBC that the Spanish specialist commented on the news about the future of his former boss.
Earlier, the media reported that Guardiola would leave his post as head coach of Manchester City at the end of the 2025/26 season. It is reported that the 55-year-old specialist's departure will be officially announced on May 24. The goal is to see off the Spaniard in a special way during the parade dedicated to the victory in the English Cup. The event will be held on May 25.
According to reports, the "Citizens" have already informed their sponsors that the Catalan coach's departure at the end of the season is inevitable.
"As soon as he makes that decision, we can discuss it," Arteta emphasized.
It should be noted that Arteta worked as Guardiola's assistant from 2016 to 2019.
