Antoine Griezmann, who announced that he will leave "Atletico" at the end of the season, appealed to the fans of the Madrid club. Sport24.az reports that the 35-year-old striker said that his transfer to "Barcelona" in 2019 was a wrong step:
"I apologize again to the "Atletico" fans for going to "Barcelona". I was young, I didn't realize the love I was given here. It was a wrong decision. I did everything I could to come back and enjoy everything."
It should be noted that "Barcelona" transferred Griezmann for 120 million euros in the summer of 2023. The French footballer returned to "Atletico" again in 2021.
