England's Newcastle football team winger Anthony Gordon is officially close to transferring to Barcelona.
Idman.Biz reports that the 25-year-old football player is in Barcelona to undergo a medical examination at the Catalan club. An agreement has been reached between Barcelona and Newcastle regarding the transfer, and the value of the transfer is 69.3 million pounds (158.8 million AZN), including bonuses.
An official announcement may be made on Friday or over the weekend.
Note that Gordon scored 17 goals in all tournaments for Newcastle last season. He stood out with 10 goals in 12 Champions League games.
