Anthony Gordon Named Champions League Player of the Week After 4 Goals Against Qarabag

Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon has been named Champions League Player of the Week based on fan voting. Sport24.az reports, citing UEFA's press service, that he scored 4 goals in the play-off match against Qarabag (6:1) and played a key role in his team's victory.

 

The English footballer surpassed Due Desire (PSG), Kasper Høg (Bodø/Glimt) and Patrik Schick (Bayer) in the voting.
