Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has responded to former Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson's comments that the team may need 10 years or more to win the English Premier League title.
According to Idman.Biz, Amorim has stated that he does not agree with Ferguson's opinion.
"He (Ferguson) understands football better than I do, especially English football. I don't think it will take that long to win the league. I don't know who will be the manager here, but I honestly believe that Manchester United can fight for the title in the coming years. I don't think it will take that long, but who knows," Amorim told the Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils last won the English Premier League title in 2013 under Ferguson's leadership.
