Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has announced that he will not terminate his employment contract with the club at his own will.
According to Lent.az, he said that only the management can make such a decision.
"The decision must be made by the board of directors. I cannot do that. Sometimes I want to resign, it is difficult to accept defeats. It would be very difficult to leave the club if I did not do everything I could," said Amorim.
Amorim became the new head coach of the English club Manchester United on November 1, 2024. The contract with the specialist is valid until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend it for another year.
The 39-year-old Portuguese specialist previously coached Sporting and Braga.
It should be noted that we previously reported that Amorim might resign from the club.
