Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has responded to rumors that he will leave the team in the summer. Sport24.az reports that the 58-year-old specialist made a statement about this to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Will I stay? Everyone always discusses such things. But results are important. My career speaks for itself. I like to work and see progress. To grow, we must work on our shortcomings. We may not be able to win the Champions League in two years, but we must have ambition. If we don't think about the future, we will be left behind.
I am in frequent contact with the club management, but first we must define our goals. In the transfer market, I give instructions and the club resolves them; it makes no sense to talk about it now. Next meeting with management? July 12th."
