FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has received his next appointment. Sport24.az reports that Aghayev will be the chief referee of the Croatia vs Faroe Islands match, which will be held as part of the DC-2026 qualifying round.
Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali will assist him. Elchin Masiyev will perform the functions of the fourth referee.
Portuguese Tiago Martins will be the VAR, and his compatriot Bruno Esteves will act as the AVAR.
It should be noted that the match will be held on November 14 at the stadium of the same name in the city of Rijeka.
