In terms of fan support, the German championship is unparalleled among the best leagues in Europe. Teams in the Second Bundesliga attract more fans to their games than popular clubs in Spain and England.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the main reason for the high number of fans is the affordable ticket prices, which surprise them. A Celtic fan's post on social media went viral ahead of the Scots' upcoming Europa League game against Stuttgart:
"Here's a ticket for our game against Stuttgart: it was 23 years ago and cost 15 euros. The ticket for the upcoming game cost me 16.50 euros. Madness! Germans are super."

The best comment under the post: "What the hell, man, this ticket is older than me."
While prices in German stadiums are a pleasant surprise for visiting fans, visiting fans of Bundesliga teams have to spend a lot of money. Germans are unhappy with the capitalism of European clubs and are actively protesting. PSG is especially suffering.
In 2017, immediately after Neymar's high-profile transfer, Bayern fans unfurled a banner at a game against Paris that read, "Tickets for 75 euros? We are not Neymar; ticket prices should be reasonable."

Time has passed, but the situation remains unchanged. In February 2023, during a game against the Parisians, fans of the record champion again appealed to the capital club: "70 euros? We are still not Neymar. 20 euros is enough! Damn PSG!"

Borussia Dortmund fans joined the fight in the fall of 2023, showing solidarity with the Munich team: "70 euros for a ticket to a group stage game? Damn PSG! 20 euros is enough!"

The French club ignored their request, so for the return game, Paris fans traveling to Dortmund appealed to their own: "Away tickets for 18.50 euros. PSG, follow their example."

To get an idea of how much Germans spend on football, you can look at ticket prices this season. Dortmund demands the most - 260 euros for all home games. Only Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg offer season tickets cheaper than Babariya.
