Kifayat Mustafayeva, the coordinator of the "Playmakers" project operating in our country with the support of UEFA and the organization of AFFA, and her coach Gulyana Ozcan participated in the conference held in Nyon, Switzerland. Sport24.az reports about this with reference to AFFA.
AFFA employees participated in group works and training processes on the development of creativity and play-based development of girls from an early age, leadership through the game of football, development of self-confidence and social skills at the conference organized by UEFA under the name "Playmakers".
It should be noted that the project, which is organized for girls aged 5-8, was launched in Azerbaijan in 2023 and covers 24 centers. 6 girls' teams created as a result of the project will be involved in the U-12 Girls League organized under the AFFA flag in the 2025/2026 season. The main purpose of the project is to encourage the active participation of girls in games and creative activities from an early age, to strengthen the values of gender equality in society from an early age, and to support the development of talented girls as professional football players, coaches and leaders in the future.
