"Sabail" has completed preparations for the second half of the season in the First League.
Adil Shukurov, the head coach of the "Sailors", evaluated the training camp.
"The training camp was productive. We held three test matches. We brought in new players to the squad. We were able to implement some of our ideas and thoughts. We tried to make certain changes in the style of play. Again, if we don't take injuries into account, we were able to have a normal training camp. We were partially able to adapt new transfers to the team. I hope that we will see the results of our work in the second half of the season and be able to realize our desire," he said in a statement to fanat.az.
It should be noted that "Sabail" is in third place in the tournament table with 22 points after 12 rounds. The team will play its first official match in 2026 on February 5 against "Zagatala" on the road.
