The Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out operational and technical measures to identify a group of people who illegally put tickets for the "Qarabağ" - "Chelsea" football match, which will be held on November 5 at the Tofiq Bahramov stadium in the next stage of the Champions League, on online sale. Sport24.az reports that Emil Dadashov, Javid Dadashov, Rashad Hasanov, Murad Mirkishiyev and Vusal Zalov, who previously obtained tickets online and from official points of sale, and then wanted to sell them at a higher price than their value on various pages on social network platforms, as well as in the "black market", were detained by the cyber police.
During the investigations, it was determined that these people committed this illegal act by taking advantage of the limited number of tickets and the great interest of citizens in the game. Appropriate measures have been taken against the detainees, and the operations are continuing.
"We once again appeal to citizens who want to watch live international sports tournaments planned to be held in our country in the future and recommend that they purchase tickets only from official points of sale. We state that people who buy tickets from various pages on social networks and other illegal sources may face fraud" - the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
