The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has unveiled the mascots for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by three countries for the first time in history and feature 48 national teams. Sport24.az reports that the beaver representing Canada is called Maple.
The jaguar Zayu will represent Mexico. The US mascot is a bald eagle named Clutch.
It is worth recalling that in the final stage of the World Cup, the teams will be divided into 12 groups with 4 teams each.
The top two teams, as well as the 8 best third-placed national teams, will qualify for the play-offs.
The final stage of the tournament, which will start on June 11, will end on July 19.
