17 of "Neftchi"'s Possible Opponents in the UEFA Conference League Have Been Determined

The "Neftchi" football team will start its campaign in the UEFA Conference League in the 2026/2027 season from the first qualifying round.

Idman.Biz reports that the "white-blacks", who secured fourth place in the Misli Premier League with one round remaining, have officially qualified for the continental tournament. The Baku representative is in fourth place in the tournament table with 56 points after 32 matches.

"Neftchi", with odds of 6,500, will be among the seeded teams in the first qualifying round draw. The Baku club is listed among the seeded teams in the UEFA Conference League seeding list for the 2026/2027 season with these odds.

According to the overall seeding list, 17 of "Neftchi"'s 26 possible opponents are already known. These are Latvia's "Liepaja", Finland's "Ilves" and "Inter Turku", Andorra's "UE Santa Coloma", Wales's "Connah's Quay", "Penibont" and "Caernarfon Town", Ireland's "Bohemians", Iceland's "Stjarnan", Gibraltar's "Europa", Kosovo's "Malisheva", Kazakhstan's "Yelimay", Lithuania's "Hegelmann", Faroe Islands' "Runavik", Northern Ireland's "Glentoran", Malta's "Marsaxlokk" and Estonia's "Nomme Kalju".

According to the UEFA calendar, the draw for the first qualifying round of the Conference League will take place on June 16. The first matches of this round will be held on July 9, and the return matches will be held on July 16.
