On April 8, a chess tournament was held among employees of state institutions, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
Idman.Biz reports that 49 employees from 19 state institutions participated in the event held at the Republican Chess Center.
Among women, Afag Khudaverdiyeva (Central Bank) took first place. Gandab Azizova ("Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC) finished the competition second, and Fizza Ismayilova (State Customs Committee) finished third.
Among men, Sanan Guliyev ("Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC) took first place, Murad Guliyev (Central Bank) second, and Adalat Umudov (Ministry of Emergency Situations) took third place.
