The next "Baku Open" International Chess Festival will be held with the organization of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) has released information about this.
It was reported that the prestigious tournament will be held from April 28 to May 6 at the Baku Crystal Hall.
The festival will be held in three groups (A, B, and C) according to the Swiss system, consisting of 9 rounds. The Azerbaijan Championship among veterans will also be held within the framework of the competition.
It should be noted that the prize fund of "Baku Open" is 50,000 US dollars. The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled for April 28.
