Azerbaijani grandmaster Aydın Suleymanli continues his winning streak at the traditional "Tata Steel Challengers" chess tournament held in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.
According to Idman.Biz, in the ninth round of games, A. Suleymanli won against Argentinian Faustino Oro. It should be noted that this is Aydın's fifth victory in Wijk aan Zee.
After this success, the Azerbaijani chess player scored seven points, advancing from his previous third position and rising to outright second place. He is half a point behind the leader of the tournament table, American Andy Woodward. In the tenth round, A. Suleymanli will face Spaniard Daniil Yuffa.
