Azerbaijani MMA fighter Tofiq Musayev and Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes shared their thoughts on the upcoming fight in the UFC.
Idman.Biz reports that Musayev shared a short message on social media after the opponent changed: "Opponent changed, no goal".
Bahamondes did not hide that he agreed to the fight at short notice. He accepted the call by writing "Short notice? I'm here" on his social media account.
Initially, Musayev was scheduled to face Samuel Sanchez on April 4 in Las Vegas. However, after the opponent withdrew from the tournament due to injury, the UFC found a new opponent for the Azerbaijani fighter, and Bahamondes will fight him.
It should be noted that the Chilean fighter last entered the octagon at the UFC tournament held in Baku on June 21, 2025, and lost to Rafael Fiziev by unanimous decision of the judges.
