Azerbaijani MMA fighter Rafael Fiziyev has left the top ten of the UFC lightweight rankings.
Idman.Biz reports that he is ranked 11th in the organization's updated list.
Fiziyev has dropped one place after the next ranking update. At the same time, Brazilian Renato Moicano rose to 9th place by defeating Scottish Chris Duncan with a rear-naked choke in the second round at the "UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs Duncan" tournament. It should be noted that Moykanu previously shared the 10th place with Fiziyev, but now he has moved up. Another Brazilian, Mauricio Ruffi, dropped from 9th to 10th place, while Azerbaijani Fiziyev remained outside the top ten.
Currently, the top 10 UFC lightweight rankings are as follows: 1. Justin Gaethje, 2. Arman Tsarukyan, 3. Charles Oliveira, 4. Max Holloway, 5. Benoit Saint-Denis, 6. Paddy Pimblett, 7. Dan Hooker, 8. Mateusz Gamrot, 9. Renato Moicano, 10. Mauricio Ruffi. The division champion is Ilia Topuria.
As for other Azerbaijani lightweights, neither Nazim Sadykhov nor Tofiq Musayev are currently included in the official UFC top 15 list. However, in the ranking of the influential "FightMatrix" portal, Sadykhov is in 79th place, and Musayev is in 30th place.
A particularly significant leap was recorded in Musayev's performance. He has advanced significantly in the ranking after his victory over Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes. Thus, the Azerbaijani, who was in 83rd place in the "FightMatrix" list on January 1, 2026, rose to 30th place in the latest update.
It should be reminded that in his last fight, Tofiq Musayev defeated Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes by unanimous decision of the judges at the "UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs. Pyfer" tournament. Both fighters received a bonus of $100,000 from the organization.
