The official opening ceremony of the "Grand Prix" international karate tournament, organized by the Azerbaijan Karate Federation and held in Baku on April 10-12, 2026, has taken place. Sport24.az reports that the opening ceremony was held at the Border Guard Sports Center in Baku.
Following the artistic part, the final matches started, and the awarding of the winners was carried out in stages.
The event is attended by approximately 700 athletes representing 6 countries.
The "Grand Prix" international karate tournament continues with competitions in various age and weight categories.
