Mirali Seyidov is one of the founders of martial arts in Azerbaijan.
Back in 1979, he was the first head coach of the national karate team and trained a number of prominent masters of sports. In 1998, it was Mirali Seyidov who created the Azerbaijan Jiu-Jitsu Federation and continuously led this organization for almost three decades.
Mirali Seyidov would have turned 70 on May 20, 2026.
