Madina Sadigova, a member of the Azerbaijani team, performed successfully at the "Karate 1 Series A" international tournament organized by the World Karate Federation (WKF) in Tbilisi for sports karate.

It should be noted that about 1200 karatekas from more than 70 countries of the world participate in the tournament.

These words were said by Madina Sadigova, a member of the Azerbaijani national team and bronze medalist of the Islamic Games, who reached the final of the tournament.
"Before coming to this competition, we had a very intense training session. My goal is to collect good rating points in the A Series and participate in the future in the top 32 and bigger competitions. I am already in the final, I believe that I will come in first place, I will play the Azerbaijani Anthem and raise our flag," she said in a statement to AZERTAC.
It should be noted that 24-year-old Madina Sadigova, weighing 55 kilograms, entered the tatami and defeated five athletes in the tournament and advanced to the final.
It should be reminded that about 1200 athletes from more than 70 countries of the world participate in the tournament held in Tbilisi. Azerbaijan is represented by 21 karatekas in this prestigious competition.
