Islamic Solidarity Games: Saidjamshid Jafarov advances to the semi-finals and secures a bronze medal

Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov (80 kg) has advanced to the semi-finals at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Sport24.az reports that our athlete defeated Algerian Mustafa Abdu in the 1/4 finals.

 

By qualifying for the semi-finals, S. Jafarov has also secured at least a bronze medal.

 

It should be noted that today, Mahammadali Gasimzade (60 kg) and Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg) will also enter the ring.
