Former UFC champion Holly Holm has lost in a fight for the world boxing title.
Idman.Biz reports that at a professional boxing night in San Juan (Puerto Rico), American champion Stephanie Han in the lightweight division (up to 61.2 kg) according to the WBA version faced former UFC champion compatriot Holly Holm.
In the seventh round, the fight was stopped due to an accidental clash of heads. After calculating the judge's protocols, Han was declared the winner by unanimous decision - 69:65, 69:64, 68:65.
44-year-old Holm made her professional ring debut in 2002, ended her career in 2013, and returned to boxing in 2025 after a 12-year break.
