In the 50 kg category, Subhan Mammadov faced Shipsi Lachlan (Australia). Our world champion finished all 3 rounds in his favor and won with a score of 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). He will fight Goga Topuria (Georgia) in the semi-finals.
Bilalhabashi Nazarov also advanced in this weight category. He won ahead of time over his teammate Yusif Soltanov. Nazarov will face Sahil Allahverdovi (Georgia) on the way to the final.
