The "Grand Bellagio Championship" international tournament will be held tomorrow in Batumi, Georgia.
According to the local bureau of "Report", the tournament is planned to hold 10 fights in different weight categories.
Athletes from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Turkey, Israel, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Sweden will test their strength in the competition.
A "face to face" ceremony was also held between the athletes before the fight night, as is customary.
Alim Nabiyev, a 7-time world and 3-time European champion in kickboxing, representing Azerbaijan and Georgia in the international arena, will face his Brazilian opponent on the fight night.
Alim Nabiyev stated in his statement to the Georgian bureau of "Report" that the international tournament to be held in Batumi is of particular importance to him and he will try to live up to the expectations of the fans.
In addition, Azerbaijan will also be represented by Elvin Kamilli and Tural Asgarov. 27-year-old Tural Asgarov has won 4 fights and lost 3 so far.
A number of well-known athletes, coaches, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani embassy and consulates in Georgia and community representatives will travel to Batumi from Azerbaijan to watch the tournament.
