Two Azerbaijani boxers started the "Strandja" international tournament held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, with a victory.

Bilalhəbaşi Nazarov (50 kg) challenged Luis Runi (Ireland) in the 1/8 finals. The fight ended with the victory of our boxer – 4:1 (30:27, 30:27, 28:29, 29:28, 30:27). He will hold his next meeting against Rudolf Garboyan (Armenia) on February 27.
Mahammadali Ashiraliyev (60 kg) also started the tournament with a victory. He defeated Michel Baldassini (Italy) 3:2 (30:27, 29:28, 28:29, 30:27, 28:29) in the 1/16 finals. The Azerbaijani champion will face Yazal Hussam Seyfel (Egypt) in the next match. The fight will take place on February 25.
It should be noted that the competition will end on March 1.
