Two Azerbaijani boxers started the "Stranca" international tournament held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, with a victory.
The Azerbaijan Boxing Federation informed "Report" about this.
Bilalhabashi Nazarov (50 kg) tested Luis Runi (Ireland) in the 1/8 finals. The fight ended with the victory of our boxer – 4:1 (30:27, 30:27, 28:29, 29:28, 30:27). He will hold his next meeting against Rudolf Garboyan (Armenia) on February 27.
Muhammadali Ashiraliyev (60 kg) also started the tournament with a victory. In the 1/16 finals, he defeated Michele Baldassini (Italy) with a score of 3:2 (30:27, 29:28, 28:29, 30:27, 28:29). The Azerbaijani champion will face Yazal Hussam Seyf (Egypt) in his next match. The fight will take place on February 25.
It should be noted that the competition will end on March 1.
