43 boxers will represent Azerbaijan at the "Great Silk Road" international tournament to be held in Baku on April 2.

It was reported that the national teams of Azerbaijan, Australia, Algeria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkey and Uzbekistan will compete in the traditional competition to be organized at the Baku Boxing Center.
126 boxers will test their strength for 14 sets (10 men's, 4 women's) medals. The winners of the tournament will be announced on April 7. Azerbaijan will be represented by 37 boxers in the men's competition and 6 boxers in the women's competition.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will be tomorrow at 15:00. The fights will start afterwards.
It should be noted that the supervisor of the tournament will be Svetoslav Sapounciyev (Bulgaria), and the chief referee will be Anar Babanli (Azerbaijan). In addition to Azerbaijani referees, referees from Algeria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkey and Uzbekistan will also manage the meetings.
