43 athletes represent Azerbaijan at the "Great Silk Road" international boxing tournament held in Baku.
Idman.Biz reports that the national teams of Australia, Algeria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkey, and Uzbekistan are competing in the traditional competition held at the Baku Boxing Center, along with Azerbaijan.
A total of 126 boxers are testing their strength in the tournament for 14 sets of medals (10 men's and 4 women's weight categories). The Azerbaijani team is represented by 37 athletes in the men's competition and 6 athletes in the women's competition.
The winners of the tournament will be determined on April 7.
It should be noted that Svetoslav Sapounciyev from Bulgaria is supervising the competition as a supervisor, and Anar Babanli from Azerbaijan is supervising as the chief judge. The meetings are managed by judges from Azerbaijan, as well as from Algeria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
