Sumgayit players showed heroism in the match against Sərhədçi in the 5th round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by Vadim Kuramshin, the head coach of the representative of the "city of youth", in a statement to the club's press service.
He stated that they were happy about the victory:
"I congratulate everyone on the victory. Our basketball players showed heroism today. Today there were only 3 American players in the squad. For certain reasons, we cannot bring the fourth basketball player. With the arrival of the new legionnaire, the level of our team will increase even more. In fact, we also started the last season unsuccessfully. After changing the squad, we came to our senses."
It should be noted that the match "Sərhədçi" - "Sumgayit" ended with the victory of the latter with a score of 84:80.
