"Sumgayit" basketball club has reached an agreement with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
The Sumgayit representative signed a 1-year contract with 28-year-old American point guard Keon Clergeot. The 185 cm tall basketball player, after playing for several teams in his country, played for "MBK Handlova" of Slovakia, "Balıkesir" and "Ormanspor" of Turkey, "Lusitanya Ekspert" of Portugal, and "Tikvesh" of North Macedonia.
It should be noted that Clergeot scored an average of 11.8 points per game in the North Macedonian First League last season.
