"Sabah" U-18 basketball team has started competing in the Youth Champions League.
According to Idman.Biz, the Azerbaijani representative faced the "Igokea" team from Bosnia and Herzegovina in their first match in Group B.
The match, which took place in Laktasi, ended with an 88:58 victory for the opponent.
The Azerbaijani representative will play its next group match tomorrow against "Porsche BBA Ludwigsburg" (Germany).
It should be reminded that, according to the regulations, the group winners will qualify for the semi-finals. The runners-up will compete for 5th-8th places, and the last-placed teams will compete for 9th-12th places.
