He recalled that the team participated in the regular season of the FIBA Champions League for the first time in the history of Azerbaijani basketball.
"Winning the national championship for the fourth time in a row is not accidental. There is a lot of teamwork behind it. Here I would note the joint work of players, coaches, management, technical and medical staff. In my opinion, this unity can be noted as the secret of our success," Ilgar Israfilov said in a statement to AZERTAC.
The club official spoke about the goals for the next season:
"Our goal will remain unchanged next season as well. To protect the championship title, win the national cup, and of course, show ourselves in a good light in the Champions League. We are also planning to form our team to achieve the goals we have set."
