It is difficult for the "Sabah" basketball club to win in the main stage matches of the FIBA Champions League without rotation.
This was stated to Idman.Biz by the team's head coach Rimas Kurtinaytis.
The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match they lost to the French representative "Elan Chalon" (71:84) away: "It is always difficult to play away. Because the home team has an advantage. Although we did not start well, we managed to improve the situation during the game. But I have to repeat what I said last time. It seems difficult for us to win such games without rotation. We need a ready player like Ender Poladkhanli in reserve. The limitation of our substitution opportunities leads to our defeat in terms of activity and aggressive play in the 4th period".
According to R. Kurtinaytis, the players' fatigue towards the end resulted in inaccurate shots: "Therefore, I have no complaints to the players. Because each of them gave their best in the game. I hope that it will be our turn to rejoice in victory. Work is being done in this direction. But it takes time".
It should be noted that "Sabah" lost to the Czech representative "Nymburk" (65:93) and the German team "Alba" (76:85) in the previous two matches.
