"Neftchi" has achieved a historic victory in the FIBA Europe Cup.
According to "Report", this was stated by Vitali Stepanovski, head coach of the "Neftchi" basketball club, at a press conference.
The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the FIBA Europe Cup main stage game in which they defeated the Estonian representative "Kalev" in Baku:
"I congratulate all the fans and everyone on the victory. I think that "Neftchi" represented Azerbaijan very well in the FIBA Europe Cup match. This is a historic victory for "Neftchi". We also played well against the "Trefl" team in Poland. In this match, we played very well in the first and last 3 minutes, we showed character. It happened that we were 11 points ahead in the end."
It should be noted that the "Neftchi" - "Kalev" match ended with a 95:84 victory for the Baku club.
