The National Basketball Association (NBA) press service has commented on the arrest of Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier.
Idman.Biz reports that it was previously reported that they were suspected of participating in illegal sports betting.
"We are currently reviewing the federal charges that have been filed today. Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups have been immediately removed from their teams and we intend to continue to fully cooperate with the appropriate authorities.
We take these allegations very seriously and protecting the integrity and reputation of our game remains our top priority," the NBA statement said.
