The press service of the National Basketball Association (NBA) has commented on the arrest of Chauncey Billups, head coach of the "Portland Trail Blazers", and Terry Rozier, defender of the "Miami Heat".
Idman.Biz reports that it was previously reported that they were suspected of involvement in illegal sports betting.
"We are currently reviewing the federal charges brought forward today. Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups have been immediately removed from their teams and we intend to continue full cooperation with the relevant authorities.
We take these allegations very seriously, and protecting the integrity and reputation of our game remains our top priority," the NBA statement said.
