President of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), Emin Amrullayev, met with Mirkan Aydın, the president of "Nesibe Aydın," one of Turkey's well-known women's basketball clubs. According to Sport24.az, the meeting discussed the development of women's basketball between the two countries, joint projects, and mutual exchange of experience.
The parties also evaluated the prospects for implementing joint tournaments and training programs among women's basketball players of various age groups in the future.
Amrullayev spoke about the positive aspects of benefiting from Turkey's basketball experience in the region and highly appreciated the successes of the "Nesibe Aydın" club in women's basketball. In return, Mirkan Aydın also praised the development observed in Azerbaijani basketball in recent years and expressed his belief that successful results would be recorded in future collaborations.
