The Azerbaijani national team of female basketball players under 18 achieved a determined victory in the first game of the European Championship Division B, marking a first in the history of women's basketball in the country.
According to "Report", the President of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF), Emin Amrullayev, wrote about this on his personal Facebook account.
The head of the ABF congratulated the team on the historic victory: "Well done, bravo. Our great victories are yet to come. Good luck".
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team beat the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday with a score of 83:81. The team will play its next group match today against the Ukrainian national team at 21:30 Baku time.
