The Azerbaijan team defeated its opponent with a score of 16:11 and qualified for the semi-finals.
The team, which lost to Canada the previous day (10:16), won against Thailand (21:8).
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament will gain the right to participate in the FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup 2027, the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2027, and the Olympic Qualifying Tournament that grants qualification for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.
