The Azerbaijan women's national basketball team played its next match in the qualifying round of the European Championship to be held in 2027. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Evren Alkaya, lost to its opponent with a score of 34:98 against Ukraine.
The match took place in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team had previously lost to Bulgaria 48:141 and to Montenegro 62:104.
