Azerbaijan national basketball team starts the European Championship qualifying round

Today, the Azerbaijan national men's basketball team will play its first match in the qualifying round of the European Championship, which will be held in 2027.

Idman.Biz reports that the team, coached by Tahir Bakhshiyev, will face North Macedonia in Group A.

The match will start in Skopje at 22:00 Baku time.

Note that the national team will host Luxembourg in Baku on November 30.
